HUMANO is a journey born out of a young man’s two hundred questions, the answers to which would expose a world completely unknown to him, and to the majority of Humanity. Discover the true origin of man, and what it means to be Human. To most of us, today remains a mystery, but the Shamans of the Andes might have the key to discover the hidden meanings and truths?
HUMANO is a documentary film made in the Andes of South America. It is a journey within a journey to discover what it means to be Human. Born out of a young man’s two hundred questions, the answers of which would reveal a world completely unknown to the majority of humanity.
The journey of creating the film is a journey of discovery in itself. The making of the film revealed that a new way of producing and exhibiting films, leveraging technology and social networks, is upon us. Something that was not known or even possible before. For this project the Producers of HUMANO have created a global (and virtual) village, in which people from all over the world work in specific assignments, turning this film into a sustainable project.
We want HUMANO to be seen by as many people as possible, which is the reason why they have released this film on line in collaboration with Yekra as the distributor which has the affiliate program to incentivize crowd promoting and are making allowances for independent screenings worldwide.
With this film and this empowered release, Humano invites you to own your journey…
Alan has twenty-five years old and is looking for the reason of his existence,
the meaning of life. A camera and a notebook filled with questions are the
only items he needs to set off on a journey to the Andes range and into the
deepest corners of the subconscious. Through the eyes of Placido, an andean
paqo (“priest”), the existence of an invisible world which coexists daily
with the visible world will be unveiled to him. Alan wishes to discover
the origins of humanity on earth, and for this it is necessary for him to
first learn to be Human. Rituals, initiations and new challenges will
unfurl before him as “keys” to breaking and broadening his consciousness.
Together with Placido he will be taken on an introspective journey such
as has never been documented before.
